The Two Fat Rats Welcoming the New Coming Year!!

These 2 Fat Rats are the decorations @ APM mall at Kwun Tong. Below will be the bigger picture of the deco.

Those are the decos at APM HK.

While APM is busy with the CNY, Times Square drift a little further and target more to the younger generation or to say, girls? females? ladies? :D ~  Yup! The Valentines Day Deco~

Flowers, Flamingos and see those pretty BUTTERFLIES!!!

See the crowd? This Year’s Valentine Deco, they’ve called upon the Flamingo’s to represent this special lovey dovey day. They name it as Flamingo’s Blessing with the idea of using ping pong balls to create a message to the Heart and placed it in the small yellow translucent box decorated with pink fur. I guess, some lucky message will be read on valentine’s day itself? haha Im not sure either, but the whole campaign thing looks so pretty isn’t it?

All the above deco aren’t SG’s decorations… all happen in HK.

* I wanted to go chinatown SG to have a walk and build up my cny festive mood as well as capture some traditional cny deco pictures but nobody seems to be free to accompany me :( I have not been there during the CNY before for the past 9 years i’m in SG *roarrrrr

Nonetheless, i’ll still bug people to go before the decos are down!

And today, as the eve of cny.. like most of the chinese family, we’re gonna have reunion dinner to celebrate the closing year of PIG 2007! haha Bye Bye Oink Oink n Welcome *squeels* RATS!

I do miss those traditional reunion dinner that consists of family members and relatives, not friends… but my relatives are spread all over the World, some in States, Some in Indo, Some in HK, Some in Vietnam… and none in SG~

And now April is back in GZ for 6 days to celebrate CNY with her family… *envy*

I miss DAD!!! I miss having a reunion dinner with complete family members and relatives / extended members. Those big big groups and a reason to see all my cousins around. Ever since i came to SG, CNY has never been a great one *moan*

ahhhhhh so now, what im left with is… a little hope for more red packets to substitute the empty feeling!

Gotta get ready soon… yummy dinner… yummy foodies gonna swim in my tummy soon :D
